Google announces Android Wear

This is not directly related to Chrome, but it will be connected to Google services and is HUGE news. Google announced Android Wear this week – a platform that covers smartwatches and brings uniformity across wearables.

I have to say I am in love with one of the first Android Wear devices, the Moto 360. I have always loved the idea of smartwatches, but no manufacturer had done it right and the software is always a mess with these devices. I believe it’s finally time for smartwatches to shine, and it’s all thanks to Android Wear.
