Apple’s iPhone Not Profitable for Carriers?

According to a research report released by Denmark’s Strand Consult, the iPhone is not the profit-generating machine that people have made it out to be…that is, unless you’re Apple. For carriers, however, gaining the exclusive rights to sell the iPhone isn’t exactly a winning situation. The report says that the hidden costs of the phone, which include things like the subsidies and the revenue share Apple demands, have actually hurt rather than helped mobile operators’ earnings.

Is there nothing Android can´t do? Google has released yet another free smartphone app powered by Android.

The new app is called Listen, and it´s an application for smartphones that allows users to search for, download, queue, or stream podcasts and other Web audio content. Users can simply go to Google’s Android Market and install their Listen app.

Documents to go 2.0 for Android!

Documents to go was always a bit of a must have, but now they´ve gone and made it even better!

The 2.0 includes viewing, editing, and even creating PowerPoint files along with viewing PDF files, thanks to their new Slideshow To Go gadget. You can “flick” through slides, review notes, rehearse timing and make any last minute modifications when on the go.
