I would prefer it if there was an option to make it so that clicking on the tab's X to close the last tab closed it, but opened a new tab at the chrome home page but closing it by clicking on the X in the top right actually closed it. At the same time, I'd like an option to enable displaying a "Home" button. Several times today I've gotten to a point where I want to return to the chrome home page but don't want to leave the current page open, so I have to open a new one and close the old. It'd feel much smoother if I could simply go home.
