closing tabs

when you close the last tab, chrome close too...
for ME thats uncomfortable

We need to have a pop up warning when closing multiple tabs? I closed mine out at least 6 times last night by accident but no issue like you're speaking of.

for closing multiple tabs don´t know.. but for the last tab maybe!
better... a few options to set up what do you want

I don't like this either. If you go to close a final tab, it should ask you for confirmation.

maby make it more like ie and dont have a close funktion on the last tab if its the only one left..

Maybe closing the last tab could leave a simple bar at the top of the screen with just the 'new tab' button and standard minimise/maximise & close buttons?

I too noticed this.

If you close all tabs the program exits.

What I'd like it to do is show the new tab menu. The one with the 9 website snapshots.

That would be great I think.

I've noticed this too. Multitab UI's often have option in settings to close program or open blank page/document instead. Since about:blank concept in Chrome is avoided, "new tab page" is most logical choice, but let the user decide: 1. exit Chrome, 2. new tab page, 3. blank page, 4. homepage, 5. page of your choice.
