    Default Saved passwords

    I realise that this problem could be fixed by going in search of my saved passwords. But:

    Sometimes in the process of registering something, a username/email and password combination gets saved which in the end is not what you need to login every day.

    So it would be nice if Chrome could detect when I'm constantly editing at a field that it has saved, and ask me if I would like to resave this login information for this website.

    Chrome will ask whether you want the password to be save before saving it

    Chrome is not persistent enough in doing this.
    I deleted the password information from a website where Chrome had saved my username and password, but the website requires email address and password for login. Chrome hasn't asked me if I want to save this information since.
    I just joined another website where I ignored Chrome's first request (by just not clicking it at all) because I wanted to check what the site requires for login. Upon my first real login Chrome didn't ask me again if I wanted to save anything.

    frankly I have the same problem and cannot find a solution;
    understanding how Chrome deals with passwords would be helpful

    to remove all passwords, remove web data (keep a backup just in case)

    well as i said, i removed the relevant website's info. only never to be asked for it again. i also know of at least once site i visit regularly where chrome has never asked to save the password. don't really feel like removing all my passwords.
