Default Smaller top bars/icons, extra little stuff. Some stuff I would like to see.

I haven't used it much, but I've browsed through it. I like it so far, but I think they should add some more customizable features, such as being able to make the top bars and the icons (like the refresh, load, back, forward, etc. buttons) smaller or larger. I would prefer to make them smaller. Also I think there should be a little google search bar (i know the url bar acts as a search bar somewhat, but i like to have them separate) on the right side of the url bar (like i have in firefox). There also is no drop down arrow on the url bar, which would be nice. Also a better loading bar, or something to show that the page is loading. There also is no "home" icon, which i use a lot for some reason. I think you should be able to add miscellaneous icons to the bar (i.e. home, print, etc.). Um, I think that's all I have right now. Feel free to make corrections to me people. Maybe some of this stuff is already available and I haven't noticed. What other kinds of things would you guys like to see?

    Hi Slaphandz,
I agree with you - there should be more control over the look of the browser and which functions are shown/hidden, their size, etc.
But this is only a BETA, Google seem very keen for everyone to know that and make suggestions via this site on how to improve it towards a finished product, so I'm sure these things will arrive in due course.

There is already a homepage button, although the option to switch it on is a little buried.
Click on the spanner (top right), select Options, then Basics tab, and you'll see "Show home button on the toolbar" about half way down.

Even though it's the Homepage button, it still seems a little odd to have it under the Homepage settings, as it's not something one would use whilst at the homepage!
It should be a right-click option on the bar itself IMO, along with the yet-to-be-implemented Print button
    I didn't get where I am today.
