Suggestion: Multi-directional Scrolling

Here's my suggestion:
When you press down the middle mouse-button and move your mouse, have the page scroll with the scroll-bar(s) in sync with the mouse.

This feature would be similar to auto-scrolling in that it can scroll in two directions at once, but this would allow for faster multi-directional scrolling.

Sounds like a really great idea!

This already works with my mouse/driver, so I guess it's just a case of implementing wider support, i.e. a compatibility issue.
(It's still not smooth though! )
