I love Chrome, but the painful bookmark management is the only thing keeping me from switching full time.

Bookmarks have got to be quicker to get to, faster to navigate (e.g allow scrollwheel), and not require a permanently open and intrusive bookmark bar.

I signed up for this forum just to say that I agree. We need a Bookmarks Sidebar. Bookmarks are SO ANNOYING in Chrome.

Come on, Google, get the sidebar happening. I really really really want to move away from memory hog (Firefox) but AioS is great and keeps me there. I really only use Chrome for Gmail, which is sad because the speed rocks.

31 stars in just three weeks, that's awesome.

It tells Google two things:
1. We want it badly.
2. People think Chrome is so awesome that they don't just move on and try another browser because of the lack of a bookmark sidebar. With most browser they would have.

I cant believe this thread is so old and i have the same problem. It's amazing how BIG the EGO of those guys at gOOGLE is, if they aren't using a sidebar just because the didn't do it first .... why the hell are they driving a car to work every day on those round things called wheels and don't use some square kind of shit to fell different ..... instead they chose to ignore AAAAa lot of us because they just can't cope with the fact, that the idea of SIDEBAR, was already taken..... ****ing assholes.
