I have the same problem as Rave-n, Java always reports class cannot be found and cannot be loaded.

So i did what Rave-n did, and still it cannot work.

is it due to network issues or limitation?....

sigh. because of this still not my default.

I've finally figured out what the problem is. I'm in Vista (although I guess XP would work the same way.) Install Java 6U10 (like everyone is saying). For the next part, YOU MUST HAVE FIREFOX INSTALLED. If you don't, install firefox. Now, go to control panel -> java -> advanced tab -> expand "default java for browsers" -> and check the "Mozilla family." That's what I had to do to get mine to work. I know, I'm probably the only person in the world who doesn't at least have firefox installed, but that's what you have to do. Otherwise, Java will never work. Apparently, chrome (along with some other browsers) finds java in the same place as firefox, but IE doesn't. Hope this helps anyone who needs help.

go to add/remove programs, you HAVE to uninstall every single java on the list even version 6.10. then go back and re download 6.19 and then it should work. i had same problem.
