    Default Gmail plugin help please

Taken from this thread to get help: http://chromespot.com/google-chrome-...l-checker.html

I got the two files needed but I get this error when I download the install script I guess that is what it is?

I did right click and then clicked on properties to add it to the path but I guess that wasn't right either.

    Thanks

the properties of the shortcut should read something like this (for WinXP)

    "C:\Documents and Settings\user\Desktop\chrome-win32\chrome.exe" --enable-extensions

note the space between the last " and --enable

copy the crx to the root, that is C:/ and try installing from there

Okay put the C:\gmail.crx and tried to run it and the other folder is right here C:\Users\Charlie\AppData\Local\Google\gmail

I also tried to put gmail.crx in the Chrome root folder and the same thing happens. I am sure this is simple but I am not doing something.
