    Default Need Help with UserScripts

I downloaded this UserScript. It's available as an extension too and that works but I'd really like the whole UserScripts thing to work. I thought I installed it the right way and I've looked all over the web on how to do this.

    1. I made a folder called User Scripts in C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

    2. I put the GmailDefaultClient.user.js file in that folder.

    3. I added --enable-user-scripts to the end of my chrome.exe shortcut.

I did this according to these instructions and ones posted in the thread of the Script.

Any help or criticism is welcome!

    That didn't work.

What do you mean by property? (My windows is in swedish and it might be translated to something different than what crosses my mind). The shortcut is a .ink file.

The full target of the shortcut is as follows:
    C:\Users\MYNAME\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\Applic ation\chrome.exe --enable-user-scripts --enable-extensions --enable-sync

(note: there's no space in the word Application, I can't seem to fix that in the forum post though. :S)

I've tried that but when I click OK/apply, the quotation marks disappear.

I am not running Vista, but I think there is a function where it says run as "Administrator"

Did you install Chromes as "Administrator" ?

    ok one last shot

delete the shortcut on the Desktop and recreate a new one with the quotation marks and the command lines

add the quotations marks and command lines to the shortcut in Start Menu
