The technology behind Chrome is very impressive, and it's great to see sandboxing used. It just makes sense.
As amazing as your browser is, and it honestly is impressive, no browser will come close to the install base of Firefox without NoScript and Ad Block Plus. There are other high priority plugins (such as Foxmarks), but these two are the make-or-break plugins.
You're darn close to becoming a widely embraced browser, but for now you're another Opera. A great, fast browser with some really good ideas, but only a small number of people will ever continue to use Chrome for daily browsing.
Embrace these plugins. I want to see Chrome succeed. Even my mother - completely on her own - installed it to check it out. You're close; real close.
Good luck.
They are easier to ignore when they aren't there.![]()

I love the way put it. Ad block is a must. 90% of the people around me installed chrome just cause its Google technology and the McCloud comic strip really helped but no one is gonna continue to use it unless we get these features (I wouldnt be adamant as to say they have to be plugins).
Great idea and amazing product! Thank you Team G.
