Exclamation Chrome nothing without Flashblock: does this need a title? No.

I have only one thing to say: Chrome does not exist without FlashBlock.

    Thanks, guys!

edit: actually, the previous poster was right.. FlashBlock does not appear to work in Chrome for me. I restarted the browser.. I checked the options, I didn't see anything for enabling it.. and flash still plays...

QED: Chrome Is Not a Browser.

Thanks for the effort, Google. Try harder next time.

I managed to make it work using the method with flashblock.crx but after chrome was updated it stopped working. I tried reinstalling but was unsuccessful. I have to agree with others... I love the feel of Chrome but it is back to firefox until I get a flashblock add-on like the one in firefox.

What does one do if a site is permanently unblocked by mistake, or if one changes their mind after unblocking it? I only see "Press Alt+F or Ctrl+Shift+F for permanent unblocking on the site." I don't see any way to go the other direction.

    Thanks,
    Bob

Oh, just found the answer to my own question. The key is a toggle. It didn't work that way the other day, for reasons I can only guess at.

Default FlashBlock does not block everything

    Good day you all,

I've installed FlashBlock on Chrome and it is such a wonderful plugin! I'm not irritated anymore with annoying flash-ads! But I just came to the following Dutch page www.mkbservicedesk.nl but the ad on the right (annoying flashing red thing) is on my screen! It's not blocked... Does anyone know how I can block this irritating thing?

    Thanx in advance!

    Talking try using adblock +

so far with this extension i have been able to block anything i want. Adbloc plus gives you an element selector so when you drag over an area that area lights up with a rectangle highlighting the element. ok your selection and its gone.

    awesome! awesome! awesome!

I use FlashControl. It lets you to load and unload Flash objects and toggle their visibility. You can filter whole websites and even individual flash objects.
You can get it at https://chrome.google.com/extensions...lbekckimkipmoe
