There aren't any add-ons for Chrome yet, but in the future Google will probably roll them out.

What's great about Chrome is it's functionality. I think if you need the add-ons just load up FireFox. That's where the add-ons were made and meant to be. We don't want Chrome to become another FireFox and that's why Mozilla stated themselves that Google is not competing with them on this one.

However I do believe that Google will release the necessary plug-ins as part of an update. They are keeping simplicity in mind here. I never had to "wait" for FireFox to start up, but with Chrome, it actually does start instantaneously.

Who is this we you're talking about? Obviously there is huge demand for plugins - it's THE topic everywhere that Chrome is discussed. Even here there is a seperate section for that.
Customization is very important in a browser. It is the reason why most of the people I know switched to Firefox. Because they wanted to be able to customize their browser.
Now that Firefox has shown how important it is, to have addons/plugins, there is no going back. A new mainstream browser - it's unthinkable.

Ditto - between that and the lack of a Roboform plug-in, Chrome just won't do it for me. Otherwise, I really like the concept.

The roboform problem is a dealbreaker for me too. I will keep using Chrome, but won't switch for now. Who knows, maybe there will be a plugin for chrome that can do what Roboform does.
