    Default Free Download Manager plugin?

Is Free Download Manager plugin available yet for Chrome?
I tried to reinstall FDM but it's not available after a restart, when using Chrome

Don't like Chrome's downloader, you can't close the browser, it cancels the download

Not as far as I know, there aren't any plugins yet for chrome. If you cancel the download in chrome you can right click it then copy its exact address then tell fdm to create a new download and itll automatically fill in the location. Thats worked pretty well for me so far.

"You can't in any other browser either."

If you use FDM you can close the browser and even FDM as well and it would still download your file
