    Default SDK?

Anyone seen an SDK anywhere? I'd love to first to show off a few plugins for stuff that I really really miss from Opera. But, gotta say, for the speed, Chrome is spank me fast!!!

Have you found anything? The source itself would be a good starting point, though I guess the plugin interface should use gears instead of binary plugins.

    Any documentation would be fine.

Why do you need a SDK, when it is OpenSource, and you may know how to programm http and java!?
If you do know both, you should be in heaven, and swimming in plugin's by now.
You know, you could port plugins from firefox to go with GChrome. Then you woulf have to activate some sort of installer for plugins in GC first..

Good Luck, and have fun! I don't know Http or Java. So all i can do is a little bit of C++..

    As said, Good luck!

SDK and getting started guide for google chrome development can be found here

    http://dev.chromium.org/developers/h...etting-started

I'm interested in making a plugin too - though I've never built one before. I want to know more about what are the first steps and how to go about it. I think the link above is a place to find out more.

Do we need to get stuck into the google chrome source code to make a plugin for it? or is there a particular API within it provided specifically for giving us hooks into a 'plugin interface' of the browser ... ?

I'm going to nose around that link myself to try and work this out ...

... just found this page http://dev.chromium.org/developers/d...n-architecture

... and this page is very illuminating http://www.paperfrag.com/?p=10
