    Question Google chrome cache of pages visited

    Does anyone know how to suppress Google from placing the web pages visited in the cache folder?
    I am trying to establish web pages that may not be visited for a students computer. I use the Hosts file in Windows and Hosts man program.

    When I place the name of the web site in the hosts file with an address of 127.0.0.1, it stops the page from displaying. But Google chrome gives a link that will display a previous displayed version of the page. Nothing I do stops Google from doing this. Even deleting the Cache folder does not work.

    Anybody know how to get Google to stop doing this?

    I know I can use incognito mode, but I cannot get the pages removed from the cache that I have visited already.

    Anybody??

    I believe Google offers a cache version of a site if it cannot be reached;
    nothing to do with Chrome
