That gave me an idea... How About right about the "Introduce Yourself" forum there will be a locked forum called:

Rules & FAQ: Read Before Posting

Or something like that so we can tell people up front how to conduct themselves. But I'm still looking for a little better wording on the "General" category's Title and Description..

I think a better solution that is less likely to be skipped over would be to make a locked Forums called "Rules & FAQ: Read Before Posting" and in that forum, place the rules and FAQ as separate posts.

Any of the mods like data mining? If so, give that poor sap the FAQ duties. lol

As far as forum rules go, I would hit up a forum with a large user base and mimic their rule set with some tweaks.

Steams is one that I can call out off the top of my head, though it is more gamer based. (http://forums.steampowered.com/forum...d.php?t=651173)

Damn dude... I suck more than I thought... even having trouble adding search box and analytics without bringing the forum down with a parse error. Not used to the format of this crap... I'm used to wordpress and vb.

Throw up a paypal thing and get something that is more robust. I still stand by IPB (Invision Power Boards)
