Config Options

Maybe I'm missing something but is there anyway to change configuration options like FF about:config? Things like changing number of connections per host (what is the default), how to handle pages over SSL, cache settings, etc I've been looking for this information but haven't had any success in finding it.

I think that falls under "simple UI". There is always a trade off.
