Thankfully Google did a good job with the way Chrome handles a full blown crash. I was literally back at this page within 2 seconds of the crash and all my tabs were still there.

I opened in a new window and it crashed both on mine.
5 tabs open, opened the link in a new tab, and all of chrome crashed (all tabs).
but i did make it back quick. restarted chrome, typed chrome in the search history box, and clicked right on a link to this page. that was nice.
That was actually kind of funny. Now we know what crashes!
As far as we know, it is a beta testing FEATURE for when they need to force a full browser crash.![]()
For some reason, every crash I've experienced was a full browser crash. I have yet to see when one tab freezes and I can just end that process.

Every crash just shuts down the whole browser, not just the tab. Something Google should work on.

I've had several tab-only crashes. You just need to find bad websites, not bugs that effect the entirety of Chrome.
