Default Google Admits Chrome EULA Mistake

    http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post...change-it.html

After thinking how underhanded of a move Google did, it's nice to see that it wasn't a conscious effort.

I bet worker over there is going "Aw crap, I shouldn't have copy/pasted the EULA from Google Docs." or something .

I'm glad to see this show up, now people won't dismiss the browser over paranoia.

Yeah, oops. It sounded kind of meaningless to me anyway. It would have given them rights to the whole internet. It couldn't stand up anyway.

    Fluffy Google
Seriously? Do you believe for one second that isn't exactly the intention of google.

The EULA was a mistake according to google.
The opening of private data without the knowledge or consent of its users with Buzz was a mistake according to google.
The WiFi snooping in Germany was a - guess what - a mistake, according to google.

Same for Europe and now Connecticut. All a mistake. One of the largest technology companies in the world just keeps making these little 'mistakes' and you buy it?

Put down the kool-aid and take a look around. Google is anything but fluffy my brainwashed friends.
