Have tried Chrome multiple times in multiple versions and every case have been frustrated and disappointed by the unresolved "resolving host" and proxy issues.
The latest "stable version" was little better. But on my way to quitting for good, I had the illogical urge to try the latest Beta.
I just installed it, and it's what I hoped a Google browser would be from the get-go -- wicked fast and stable in all respects (though I haven't tested it fully across the complete range of normal activities.
But for normal browsing, v.5 is wonderful, some might say "the bomb."
Glad Google has finally lived up to expectations. I must say I'm troubled, though, by its failure to address and discuss the problems I mentioned in earlier versions.
