I have used Internet Explorer and Firefox all my life, my father said Google Chrome wasn't that big of a deal, I downloaded it today and It's SO much faster than any internet I've ever used (including Safari on my friends brand new mac).

Would you like to know why I first started using Google Chrome? I downloaded because I was sick of all of the ads and hype so I decided to try it. It's a good thing I did too because Google Chrome is my primary browser and I have been happy with it since Day One.

Well, first...Chrome came a bit late on the Mac and when it was finally released, it lacked the ability to use extensions. So at that time, while it was very fast, stable and while it had an awesome interface, the lack of extensions kept me on Firefox. But then extensions were supported on Mac, I switched to Chrome and havent looked back since.
I use it both as my default browser and, since it is the most standards compliant browser, as the benchmark browser on which to first test the pages I build.
