    It seems that instant on will be an important differentatior of Chrome OS. Google seems to be inspired by DeviceVM' Splashtop > Information week

    Windows 7 is pretty fast
    I think it's 7 seconds to the Desktop
    Are you running the current version of Chrome?

    Mac OS X on my Macbook as well and Linux (with some tweaks) as well, however that's still not *instant* on.
