I've downloaded it, but when I open it, WinRar shows me a message "C:\Documents and Settings\private\Desktop\Chrome_OS.i686-0.4.207.vmx.tar.gz: Unexpected end of archive"

    what should I do?

    http://sites.google.com/site/chromeoslinux/download

This is the tar.gz file containing vmdk and vmx files.

You need a free VMware Player or VirtualBox in order to run this appliance.

yep, I know, I downloaded and installed VirtualBox 3.0.6 before Chrome OS, but during its installation it shows me a warning that I should STOP installation 'cause it didn't passed Windows Logo test, or something like that..
I deleted it, so I'm downloading VMware Player 2.5.3 at the moment..
    Tnx, I hope it'll work..

    Unhappy

I've installed VMware Player, but when I try to open file "Chrome_OS.i686-0.4.207.vmx.tar.gz" it don't even shows it up, because VMware can't open *.gz or *.tar files. But it can open *.vmx, so I renamed its name, only deleted ".tar.gz"
Now VMware can open "Chrome_OS.i686-0.4.207.vmx", but when tries to run it, there is a message, something like "Can't open, syntax error".. then I entered back ".tar.gz" but there is still "syntax error"..
Do you have any solution for me? Or should I try downloading *.iso version of COS?

Warning: Google Chrome does not work in Live CD mode yet, you have to install it to the hard disk at first.

I would hang on for a while before playing with it

personally I would wait for the Live CD
(that is running it from a CD without installation)
