Default [XTools] XChrome - Beta Release 5

XChrome Beta Release 5
What is XChrome?
XChrome is a theme manager for Googles Chrome browser, it allows users to install a skin in seconds without having to move default.dll around and it allows you to view the author and various other details before installing.
XChrome also allows users who do not have XChrome install to install themes by double clicking the themes .exe file, they are prompted to install the theme, they agree the theme is copied to Chromes Default.dll

Screenshot of XChrome BR 5:

Fixes :
o now works with .29 of Chrome (i have changed the way the google dir is found, it should now work with future versions)
o Chrome going red after default.dll is Touched
o After clicking install on a few theme it installed into Xchrome manager but not into Chrome itself.

Added Features:
o Theme Webpage now links the user to the webpage by a click rather than needing to type the url manually into browser.
o Gets Chrome version and path from the registry
o Improved serveral routines.

As you can see XChrome Is the official tool of ChromeSpot too This should hopefully cut down own people claiming it or the work associated with it as theirs. Good job again B33T working while hungover aint easy

I use to follow SharpE which was a desktop replacement for windows, one of the best features I would want for you guys to follow is the

- Automatic Updates, a pre-list of themes will appear including preview image and description, and an option to update such.
- Enable/Disable Automatic New Themes Checking every 24 hours. with a 'fetch new' button.

This really hit off nicely in SharpE and I'd love to see this program become the tool of the future, a good site should be setup for xchrome and a good dedicated community, a reliable source for themes to be stored on a good server is a must, and I could see this tool becoming everyday used.

It could be sponsored with ads on the site, and each author contributing could win respect for bringing out nicer and more visual stunning themes on the site by being featured artist and in the top 10 themes of course.

Anyway that's just an idea, love to see what happens soon!

Hmmm....I'm getting "Unable to edit default.dll due to permission denied. please ensure Chrome is closed."

1. Chrome is closed

2. I've run RegisterDlls (result: DllRegisterServer in MSCOMCTL.OCX succeeded)

3. I've rebooted

4. I'm running all of the XChrome stuff from an XChrome folder, not the 0.2.149.29 folder

5. If I rename the Chrome default.dll and replace it with another theme's default.dll, the theme changes

???

B33T, you have done an amazing job with this new XChrome. I have not experienced any bugs whatsoever with the download, and the themes are working perfectly. Amazing job and keep it up!

Yay! New Xchrome! I'll stick with what I have, though, since the default DLL for the FF3 theme is working perfectly fine...
