I adore this browser so far, but if I can't remap these keyboard shortcuts I just plain can't use it -- I have to use JS apps that have their own keyboard shortcuts...

Any way to rebind these hotkeys?

Right, back to school, then, for a degree in computer science.

ctrl + number = switch to the corresponding tab. (ctrl + 2 switches to your second tab ctrl + 1 switches back to your first tab etc.)
F3 opens the search within page bar (like ctrl+g and ctrl+f) and when pressed again searches for the next occurrence of your search topic on the same page (like ctrl+g).

ctrl - zoom out

This also is achieved by holding Ctrl while scrolling your mouse wheel.
