Location of "favorites"

Where do I find the file location where my bookmarks are stored?

depending on your OS

Under WinXP, bookmarks are located here
C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

C:\Users\user\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

Thanks to you both - I should have mentioned I'm using Vista.

So if I want to "back up" my favorites, would I just copy the file named "bookmarks" then?

yes and to be really safe, copy the bookmarks.bak too
