Easy Zooming

if you not have mousewhell (your from outer space) another way to do that is
ctrl + +
ctrl + -

I tried the ctrl mousewheel for zooming, it's great only thing is now I'm not sure if i'm zoomed in or zoomed out. is there a way to reset to normal.. or how do you tell how much zoom you have?
