Default Feed Viewer for Google Chrome (BETA)

Bookmarklets are bookmarks of favorites that are just a little bit smarter. Instead of just being a dull link to a page, they can be dynamic, change based on your environment, ask questions, and generally try to be useful.

Since Google Chrome doesn't have a default Feed Viewer, I though I could come up with one.

View RSS Feed
If you arrive to a RSS Feed page use this bookmarklet to preview it.

Auto-Detect RSS
Will automaticaly detect RSS Feed's on any website (well, almost).

Simply drag those bookmarklets to your Bookmarks Bar and use them whenever you want!

I'm not sure how I missed this one, but that is really quite slick! Nicely done!

Hi,

I am using your Feed Bookmarklet as well and find it quite good to use.
What I do is bookmark the page once it is loaded properly as a Feed
and then when you open it again if there are new messages on the
page they will be shown.

A few features that would be useful.
1 Search Articles
2 Sort By Date Title or Source.
3 Recent articles which you can select either New or All or Other
4 Subscribe Button to Add as Bookmark so you can save it.

cheers

Auto-Detect is very handy. Chrome needs this built-in asap.

I use Google reader and find it very handy.
I have exported my rss feeds from Firefox to http://www.google.com/reader/view/#overview-page
and I am a happy camper now...
