    Default Retrieving old history?

Hi there everyone, this is my first post on the forum. I have performed a search in case this has already been discussed and cannot find a thread, so my apologies to everyone if this falls into the category of a repeat.

Incidentally, I love using Google Chrome, wouldn't have IE back if you paid me.

I recently had to delete all of my cookies because of problems I was having on another site which I use regularly - it's now ok.

My question is this. I have obviously gotten rid of my old Chrome history, and I am particularly looking for some activity which was on my computer March/April time.

Is there anything I can do to find that history - or has it been lost forever??

Thanks in anticipation. I have the feeling it's gone and can't be retrieved.

Once you delete your history it is most likely lost forever.

Hello and thank you for your reply - I thought this may be the case, I do wish there was a way to over-ride this, because from time to time we all have to delete cookies.

    Thank you anyway.

Does this mean you only wanted to delete cookies?

Because if you only want to delete cookies than there is one way to do so without deleting your history.

When you click to delete and see the menu with the options to delete browsing history, empty cache, delete cookies, etc. uncheck the boxes except for the delete cookies option box and then click delete.

You will only delete cookies without deleting your history.

Hope this helped, if it didn't then post a message either here or on my profile page.

If you haven't deleted the Temporary Internet File folder you can see where you've been

Default retrieve old history on chrome

I'm a computer illiterate. Can someone please tell me in simple terms how to retrieve Google Chrome history older than the 6 weeks that come up on history. This is so important that I get to old history. Thanks
