Default Shortcuts - new window in each..

    Guys,

anyone know how to force chrome to start a new session? Let me explain:

Scenario already in firefox today that I want to have with Chrome:

    1) Two shortcuts on my Windows Vista installation, on the desktop:
    1a) Shortcut 1: open site1 & site2 & site3
    1b) Shortcut 2: open site4 & site5 & site6
    2) When clicking shortcut 1 a new window opens and contains the tabs of these three sites
    3) When clicking shortcut 2 another window opens and contains the tabs of those other three sites

In todays behavior 2) works fine, but when 3) happens it opens the sites in the first window/session created by 2).

    Comments?

PS - Tried the flag "--new-http" but I guess that means something else entirely.. - DS

At this point, you can't save a particular collection of tabs unless they were the last ones open. Look for it in a future release or plugin.

Thanks, im sure im being fuzzy. Thats not what im looking for. Im writing about actual shortcuts in my operating system, this one being Windows.

With firefox you can create shortcuts that looks like this:

    <path-to-firefox-exe> <site-address1> <site-address2>

.. and you can do this with Chrome also. But when making two or more shortcuts with firefox, you get a new window with the sites in them. With Chrome you get a new window with the first shortcut you launch, but the sequential shortcuts opens the sites in new tabs in the already existing window.

OK, I see what you mean. You're right: the new-http switch doesn't help.
