No webpage loads in Chrome

Thanks for the reply. My internet is just fine. I am able to surf in Firefox, Opera and IE. There's no firewall (software or the windows one).

I've never run a firewall in the 12 years I've been on the net, there's never been a need

erm viruses? anyway are you runnin anything that might deny an internet connection?

Nope.

Tell me something. How do I uninstall Chrome completely? When I uninstall and reinstall it, I see (imported from Firefox) bookmarks from the earlier installation. I tried cleaning the registry using the one in CCleaner...but no luck.
