Iīm having some problems with Chorme + Java + Digital Signature and canīt seem to resolve the issue....
First let me say that it works normally with Internet Explorer so it probably is an issue with Chrome....
I access a governmental site that needs a digital signature to enter, my signature is smartcard based and chorme detects it normally and allow me to enter the site after requesting my password....
The site is setup so it only asks for the digital signature when you enter the site, but there is a java applet inside the site that allows me to sign and upload files, in IE the applet loads normally and after i upload the files it simply signs the files with the same digital signature i used to access the restricted area of the site.
But in Chrome, when i select to load the applet, before loading the applet appears a java window requesting form me to select the digital signature for authentication, but this window appears blank... if i cancel it the applet does not load...
I already contacted the site administrators and they tell me that there should not be a request for authetication just to load the applet, only when accessing the restricted area, and that the problem is probably in the communication between the browser and the java JRE....
I really want to use chrome to access this site, as iīm a little worried with IE security issues, but canīt seem to find a solution for the problem.... anyone have any ideas?
thanks.
