Checkboxes in Chrome..broken?

Well a good example is gmail, the checkboxes next to messages just does not show up, when I click in the spot where they are
supposed to be, I see a checkered outline of the checkbox, but cannot actually click it.

Another example is the registration page for this forum.

I've been having the same problem and it's driving me nuts.
Chrome 0.2.149.30
The About page says it's up to date.
What version are you guys using that fixed it?

Go to: Display Properties > Appearance > Update / change Windows Style.
It will fix the issue. You can re-set your style to what it was and check boxes will remain. If it happens again, do the same thing...
