Default Chrome does not save content from CGI process

Using Google Chrome 11.0.696.68 on Linux Ubuntu 10.04.
When I choose Right Click->Save As and save the content
of a CGI application, what is saved is generally, if not always something
other than what I am viewing at the time. Interestingly, it appears to
be some content previously created by the CGI process. This is bizarre,
extremely unhelpful and must be a bug, unless there is another way to
    save the content.

Comments and helpful hints are wecome.
    thanks
    tim

No help thus far. That's kind of lame , and BTW, I'm seeing lots of
broken image links in this forum. Maybe this community should just combine
    with the official forum.

Having said that, I have a workaround that I can share with others who may have
    the same problem:

    1)Right-click and select View Source.
2)Double-left-click at the view upper left of the source code window. You will
need to select the very first byte.
3)Move to the end of the source code window.
4)With the cursor past the end of the text, press shift Left-Click.
On my platform, this selects the entire text. My platform has a stand-alone
clipboard manager, and the selected text is automatically placed in the clipboard. If
you don't have a clipboard manager, you will probably have to manually copy (ctrl-c)
    the text.
Then you can paste the text into a file.
