Hi,
We are rolling out Windows 7 VMs using Google Chrome as the default browser. Unfortunately, I have not been able to get barcodes displaying correctly. Alot of our users will need to go to our intranet site and generate a report which will contain alot of barcodes. At the moment, they display as alphanumeric strings. The barcodes work correctly in Internet Explorer 8. The barcode font 3 of 9 shows up in the correct directory.
We are using Chrome version 15.0.874.120 (Official Build 108895) m. The OS is 32-bit Windows 7 Professional service pack 1. Javascript is enabled if that's important but no extensions are installed. The font '3 of 9 Barcode Regular' already shows up under Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Fonts and as I said it works in IE8.
Can you tell us if there is a work around available?
Many thanks,
Justin Forde.
