    How and where does Chrome store its' bookmarks?

    On windows xp, you can find them in the following file:

    c:\documents and settings\your username\local settings\application data\google\user data\default\bookmarks

    and you can open the file in a text-editor.

    Doesn't find bookmarks file there!

    you're right, re-checked it

    shouldn't have been too hard to find out yourself tho..

    c:\documents and settings\your username\local settings\application data\google\chrome\user data\default\bookmarks

    I'm not sure with the new versions, but when I last checked it was stored in the history file for my chrome install. Spent a couple hours or so looking for them as I wanted to know if a proper bookmark manager was possible...
