I upgraded from Chrome 2.0 to 3.0 & lost all my bookmark bar folders containing bkma
I upgraded from Chrome 2.0.172.28 to 3.0195.33 recently. Straight away I noticed all my folders on my Bookmark Bar were GONE. The most impt ones! My WORK bkmarks are gone! It then asked me if I wanted to Sync all bookmarks. I did. Still no sign anywhere of my original Bookmark Folders on the Bookmark Bar. I then restored my Google Folders (in Users & all signs of Google Chrome places). I even went back to old version to try to find them, but they are all gone. I upgraded once again as I love Chrome despite my anguish over the bookmarks. Now, how can Chrome do this to me? Tell people to save them before upgrading -- I mean, at least the ones on the BAR.
Does anyone have any ideas how to restore these essential folders? I can access any previous folder, as I backup on MOZY all the time. Is there anyway at all to get these even if its one by one? I am not tech savy, using Vista Premium platform. Any suggestions would be appreciated. All other bookmarks are fine under the "other bkmrks" -- it is the Bookmark Bar that came up all new and blank.
