    Default Square fonts in Chrome

    1. Operating system ( including any Service Pack )
    2. Version of Chrome ( eg Beta, Stable or Dev Channel X.X.XXX.X )
    3. The problem
    4. Screenshots ( if available )
    5. Others eg extensions/user scripts installed, etc

    Hi.
Chrome does not display fonts in a readable manner. The're square.
I'm running mac OS 10.6.2. and the stable version of Chrome.
Unfortunately I'm not capable of posting a screenshot. THe fonts are squares with small A's in them.

    Cheers

    Does this help? http://code.google.com/p/chromium/is...l?id=11269#c17

"I opened Font Book, and it showed I had multiple versions of Arial Bold available. Use the 'remove duplicates' function to disable the duplicate fonts and then restart Chrome."

    Or perhaps:

Chrome sandbox blocks loading of fonts stored in nonstandard locations by font managers

Which is technically impossible since there is no Stable version of Mac Chrome yet. (Mac Chrome is still in Dev and Beta testing.)

What is displayed for your Chrome version from about:version ?
