Chrome installation went well, but not a single site loads up. Does anyone have a solution ???

Thanks for the reply. My internet is just fine. I am able to surf in Firefox, Opera and IE. There's no firewall (software or the windows one).

you're not running a firewall :-o

Tell me something. How do I uninstall Chrome completely? When I uninstall and reinstall it, I see (imported from Firefox) bookmarks from the earlier installation. I tried cleaning the registry using the one in CCleaner...but no luck.
